Shale and decomposed rock soils, with drip irrigation delivering a production of 7.3 tons/ha. Half of the grapes were harvested at 19o balling to preserve more green flavours and remaining half of the grapes were harvested at 23o balling to contribute more fruiter flavours.
Grapes were gently pressed and juice fermented at 12 oC
