The Rosalind is an elegant, well crafted wine that can be matured for 12-20 years. Intense dark ruby colour with cherries, plums and fynbos on the nose.
Pair with rich beef, lamb, venison stew. Grilled leg of lamb, stuffed with wild garlic and rosemary.
Training method: 5-wire vertical trellis
Yield: Average of 39 hl/ha and 6.5 tons/ha (weighted average)
Wine was matured for ± 22 months in small barrels. Only the best barrels in the cellar were selected for this wine. In line with our approach of minimal interference, the wine was bottled with only minimal pre-bottling filtration and no stabilization. A sediment is natural and to be expected.
Barrel profile: 50% 1st fill Revolution barrels, balance 3rd and 4th fill, 100% French oak.
