Climate: Macro climate is Mediterranean. Meso-climate is influenced by everyday South Easter during summer and morning fog in winter with big variations in day/night temperatures.
Location of vineyard: Between Lageberg and Riviersonderend Mountain range, East facing slope above the banks of the Breede River, South in the Robertson Wine Valley, Wakkerstroom Wes, R317, Arendsig Farm.
Nose: Citrus, Green Apple, Pineapple
Pallet: Fresh minerality, rich, round, long lingering taste
Maturation: 5000L french oak, third fill, Foudre casks and in 300L neutral vessels for 10 months on the lees
