This medium-bodied wine boasts an elegant harmony of well-integrated tannins and delicate flavours of plum, blackcurrant and fresh herbs. With a dry finish, it offers a tasting experience that’s truly captivating.
Only the healthiest berries from hand-harvested grapes made it into the small, open-top fermenters where they were fermented on the skins. During fermentation, pump-overs were performed twice a day to extract the ripe, round tannins and the maximum amount of color pigment. To ensure that the fruit remains the primary focus, the wine was aged in 3rd and 4th fill French oak barrels in order to limit the influence of oak-derived characters.
